The FDA has been extremely active last month and they are keeping a close eye on cosmetic manufacturers that make drug claims. Terms such as inflammation, oxidation, genes – anything that mention changes to the body – will be falling into “drug claims”. Launching an innovative product attracts the attention of the competition and of regulatory agencies. Caution is highly advised!
